Phil: Funky Madonna Psychedelic Lamp Query

Post Tue Mar 13, 2007 1:21 am

Good evening Phil (or anyone else who can answer my query),

I was @ the Orpheum show last night. Old eyes, way in the back, noticed
what looked like some old funky pothead light on the bass amp. @ first
I thought it might be an Absolut bottle from a liquor store display, but
during a real blacked out moment my old tired eyes finally focused on
the source and behold! it was a Madonna statue/light.

Where can I pick one of these up? I'm a fan of the old 3-D " Jesus Walking
On Water " portraits, but this trumps that.

She'll look great bookended by a couple of my lava lamps.

Be well........

Yes, my wife pointed that out to me.

It was especially prominent during Straight to Hell when the stage was dark and empty. Did you notice there was also something on the amp directly behind Philip, about half the height and not illuminated. What was that?

It was another weeping Madonna, this one apparently about to play the harmonica but missing her instrument of choice. Who knows where these things come from? Ordinarily, one could assume that Jos Grain has been shopping again, but Jos is not with us on this tour and his replacement Chris has yet to display any such consumerist tendencies. So I'm settling for the Miracle theory.
