does anyone know what time the pogues usually go on stage. I just found out that i have something to do at 6:00 on the 15th, so I wanted to know if it was worth it to try and rush into the city I know the doors open at 645, but I was hoping that they won't hit the stage until 10ish but i have no idea. Any information is greatly appreciated,thanks

We usually go on stage around 9, unless we have to finish early to make way for the youth club disco, as apparently happens in Boston.

My only experience with this (once is enough -in this case- to prove it universal for me) is a couple months back. Exiting Avalon on a Saturday night at around 10:00pm with the rest of the Los Lobos crowd I was greeted by a huge flock (literally) of those "youth club discoers" all staring at us and bouncing around waiting to get in dressed in tank tops, stretch jeans and spiked hair...in 45 degree weather. It was amazing the necks of the techno chicks were able to hold up their heads loaded and pasted with ounces and ounces of bright makeup. Quite a sight.
