Aside from having Joe rise from his eternal rest to introduce the bhoys, having the actual Clash DJ last year in NYC was about as cool as it could get.

Let me tell you 'bout your blood, bamboo kid...
I like this bad set and I like getting drunk at luncheon.

and - having heard only crappy sounding bootlegs - it was a totally sublime thing. i mean, it was already one of my favourite songs before i heard it with The Pogues, i wouldn't have guessed it could have been improved.
