Shane and Philip

Post Tue Feb 06, 2007 7:42 pm

One of my favourite moments of Brixton 2006 was when Shane came back after "Thousands are Sailing" and said "Philip Chevron, a little guy who walks tall".
Says it all doesn't it?

Something that is always hard to balance at a Pogues show: Amout of Whiskey v. Ability to Retain Memories (from my limited experience and my wife's experience which is a show more than mine).

Boston will be an even harder place to keep that balance in check. Either way it will be fun trying.

After Manchester 06 I ended up at a friend's house drinking some devilishly potent Thai whiskey (until that point I didn't know there was such a thing), which seemed appropriate given Shane's links with the country. I only had two of them and I was obliterated. Never again. Not until the next time anyway.
