What time do the Avalon shows start? More specifically, the Friday night Avalon show?

Normally, we go on stage around 9. At the Avalon, if this is the place with the 10pm curfew, showtime is likely to be considerably earlier, around 8pm. I'll post here when I know for sure.

Can't find it now but i'd swear I read somewhere this one is a 7pm show. If that's doors opening or first act on stage i'm not sure either. Guess we should just wait on Philip for this one. The Avalon site doesn't even have it listed yet...what tha?!?
Regardless...i'll be there!!!

Yeah, Avalon kicks everybody out early. The "techno" crowd takes over Lansdowne St.
Check out Dropkick Murphys song "Pipebomb on Lansdowne" about the clubs there.

Hey Philip, at the Avalon show(s)...on Lansdowne Street, think there'll be a toast or a moment of silence for the tearing down of Lansdowne Road?
I'm still sad I never got to see a match there in person.

They are just refurbishing Landsdowne in Dublin it'll be back by 09. As for the show at Avalon I'm stomping some yuppie ass afterwards if we have to be out by half 10.

You won't be stomping yuppie ass.
It'll be 1) a millionaire college kid from BU, BC, Harvard, Northeastern, Emerson or 2) an E peddler. They're unreal. Guys square off and blurt out stupid shit like, "Hit me in the face and my l'll own you, bitch". Once their precious skin is touched they immediately pull a knife. Juvenile. They always add "Bitch" at the end of each statement to sound tougher. My feeling on these idiotic encounters is simple. Hey "Bitch", go back into the disco and dance your buzz off, you mindless fucking drug addled drone. These rich kid fighting rules are embarrasing. A Saudi prince in his souped up Mercedes ran over a guy a few years ago. He tried to flee the country under diplomatic immunity but the uproar from the deceased's family was well organized. The prick ended up spending a swift two months in a Martha's Vineyard jail cell. Martha's Vineyard isn't exactly San Quentin. A Harvard millionaire recently received a retrial on his murder case despite the fact he stabbed the local Cambridge kid over 20 times during an altercation. None of the eye witnesses verified the murderer's account.
Landsdowne has become a disgusting scene. To quote the late great Joe Strummer, "Know Your Rights" but don't be dumb enough to actually use 'em.
