Is Shane MacGowan on tour for the shows in SF?

Post Thu Oct 18, 2007 11:34 pm

My girlfriend is a HUGE fan, and she hasn't found out that the Pogues are going to be in town. She mentioned that Shane wasn't on the last tour thru...Does anyone know if he will be for the October shows in SF next week?

I wish people would read the FAQ's before they ask such silly questions.

I'm detecting a possible hint of sarcasm. We don't mean to be rude, but since the Pogues reunited in 2001, when has Shane ever missed a show? He even preformed some show earlier this year in a wheelchair.

And you'd be amazed how much this question has been asked by various guests like yourself, it can get a bit draining, sorry.

Allthough I know that shane is a somewhat (?) reliable bandmember now, I realy can relate to all these people that are not regulars here on the forum. It is the general image the band has to 'outsiders'. I mean that I don't find this question that stupid. And where else to ask it then here? I'm glad all those people find this site that I love so much. Offcourse they could have looked in the faq (if they got that idea) but on the other hand.. Of what we would we make fun of in that case..? :)
