Nice request all the same. I think it's my favourite post Pogues Shane song.

Crock Of Gold is a very good record. I like it much better than Peace and Love, or Hell's Ditch. I've seen Shane and the Popes six times. They played Long Lonesome Highway five out of the six times. It's really good live. Personally, I'd love to hear Transmetropolitan, but that will never happen. I can't figure out why they dropped such a good song from the set lists. Dark Streets Of London is another classic that has sadly vanished.

you know how it is though...no matter the set-list someone will always be disappointed that this song or that song was left out

Yeah, your right. It's a testimony to how many great tunes the lads have done over the years. Just think, Tommy Two Tone has to play 8675309 at every show. Gigs can't be easy for one hit wonders.

Lonesome Highway could quite easily have been a Pogues song. Would be great to hear that song live again

I could imagine you have never even considered doing a song from one of the single members of the group !?

Wouldn't it be cool if there was an online contest, where everyone submits a setlist they want and then one is picked and played next Christmas(If theres going to be a Christmas tour in 07 if not, at some other gig) I know this won't happen, but wouldn't it be great?

The recent setlists were okay, but I really would like to see 'Rake at the gates of hell' and 'Jack's Heroes'
