Iriving Plaza Box Office

Post Sat Jan 20, 2007 8:52 pm

For what's it's worth, I just scored two pairs of tix for the March 14th show and St. Patty's day...shit yeah!

I was the second person in line this afternoon (Saturday the 20th) when the box office at Irving Plaza opened (this is the Box Office for Roseland ballroom for this show at least)...just walked in and got my four tickets at face value, put me back $216 (4 @ $54)...I walked out beaming telling the guy next to me on line that I'd just scored Pogues tickets...some kid on the street overheard me, stopped in his tracks, his jaw agape..."Did you just say you got Pogues tickets?" he asked...I told him walk in the door behind me and get his damn tickets! He was stoked.

Incredible considering I paid $140 bucks last year for one ticket on the 16th at the Nokia Theatre...I found out about the show too late...tickets for St. Patty's day last year were being scalped for $300+...

Folks say Ticketmaster is sold out for St. Patty's...try Irving Plaza Box Office if you live in NYC...might be sold out by now...

Otherwise see all your punk asses at the show!!

I just hope Shane doesn't die by then... :P

Considering the dumbass's stupid comment, I'm indifferent on that.

The two most-ignored holidays in the world.

So three cheers to Patty Bouvier and Selma Bouvier-Terwilliger-Hutz-McClure :D

There was a problem with my tickets and they now have to be collected at the box office before the show starts on March 17th. Is the box office in the Roseland, or is it the Irving Plaza? Is there a difference in the two, etc.?

I'd wager it'd be the Roseland box office: Irving Plaza and Roseland are located over 40 blocks apart from one another. From whatever reason, all club shows in NYC promoted by the same agency, and using ticketbastard, have their advance tickets sold at the IP box office, regardless of where the show's actually occurring.
