That's a fabulous place. I've seen the Sex Pistols, David Bowie, and Garbage in there.

I saw the Pistols there too, and loads more bands, the Stooges most recently, I think. I once dropped some really heavy acid there at a Butthole Surfers show a long time ago and everytime I'm in the Roseland it brings a spark or two of that experience back to me. Crazy, crazy shit. It'll be an excellent place to see the Pogues.

Acid is bad.
People who supply you with baby rattles and pop rocks when you're frying are not responsible.
Many irresponsible people live in The City of Industry.

not that I give a rat'z azz about a warm up band, but I'm trying to gauge when Pogues might actually take the stage, so I can plan departing from work and the drive accordingly. please inform - thanks.

Don't discount the warmup. I did so in NY last year, and missed William Elliot Whitmore. Huge mistake.

Hey Mr. C,

Will you be posting when your sets are starting each night, just as you did last year?

That was very nice of you and quite helpful.

Cheers,
Matt

Think somebody knows. Keep an eye on this thread. We have been informed about opening acts for Chicago and Boston already (thank Spider). Sooner or later there will be something about Philly and NY I believe.

I DIDN'T discount the warmup in NY last year (3/19) and tragically, saw the entire set by Towers of London.

They're like the punk Poison!
