Strangely this phrase has a special place in my heart. Way back in the Olden Days of 1994 there was only one Pogues web site. On the bottom of the page it said "Shane is dead. Miss him miss him miss him." This really freaked me out - He and The Pogues had parted way several years earlier, and there was no reason to assume this was wrong. A month or so later I stumbled across a Rolling Stone magazine reviewing The Snake.

"Hey," I thought "He's not dead! That fucker! I should make a web site that has information that's got only information I can verify as correct!"

Can't believe no-one's said it yet.

He had the forum password, but after getting tixs in his shopping cart, couldn't access the proper personal password, or whatever...More than one poster had to try last years personal password, after initially trying to use the one they registered this year. And since it took seconds for the 17th NYC presale to sell out, therein lies the problem.Or that's how I read it.

You are the "bumb" ass!

And, I am so smart...smrt!

Guest - That made me chortle. Thanks!. :)

Aside - I think it's been well establish that reading is haaaaard. Some people get caught up in the excitement of pre-sales and don't read the instructions; others get caught up in the excitement of new shows and don't read FAQs. It happens.

I thought you might have identified me already by my IP address or something? I've been bored, but at least I've livened up the board a bit in the past couple of days? Philip really walked himself into that one about Shane setting foot in Philly! No doubt I will reveal myself in due time.

God bless all in this forum!

Alright kids - It was funny when you were bickering. Now you're just name-calling. I don't want to have to act like a grownup. Please don't force me to.

Ah! It must be Mick. :) Going immediately to the anal references was a dead giveaway.

Well, it's official now...no March trip for us. To band, and all you folks.....have a great tour!
Maybe another West Coast deal this Fall. If not, we are very interested in a vacation across the pond later to meet you other crazies :)

My sentiments as well. We'll have another round....may be a Pogues show, or a Jets game. Preferably both.

I can't say 100% for sure, but I think the Jets play the NFC East next year.If that's the case,I'm sure my friend the Buschman will be here from SoCal to see his Redskins. That'd be a cool get together if you could head north for that!!
