And come to think of it Eric, judging by some of your posts, you really do sound like a dumb ass!

You posted a very ignorant comment/rumor about Shane MacGowan which quickly made its way to Europe and would have spread throughout the world had it not been deleted by DzM (thank you DzM).

And you posted that you were ready and waiting one hour before the St. Patrick's Day presale, but didn't get tickets as you couldn't figure out the password, even though the password instructions were clearly described on the presale website!

You ended up getting bailed out by DzM. Didn't he have to give you free tickets last year as well?

Are you really qualified to bust the balls of others on here???

Firs of all, I AM a bumb ass. :) Second, if you would spend five minutes looking at the posts from even dumber asses, and how they are treated by fun loving yet annoyed members here who are faced with the "Is Shane going on tour with them?" question, then you would see it is all just creative give and take. I suspect you are pointing to a post where I said Shane was dead and Joe Strummer would be fronting the band. There was really no disrespect meant to anyone but the lazy person who posted. If I offended anyone else, I am sorry. I thought the absurdity would be picked up right away, but I have grossly underestimated the stupidity of some. But seriously, every single word on this forum makes it to Europe. Hey Europe! The Easter bunny is not real, and Santa is dead! So there. Let em suck on that one for a while. Who knew it was so easy to mislead an entire continent. As far as all of the rest of you post, you have all of your facts mixed up and you have jumped to conclusions that are wrong. Finally, there is no ball busting qualification. Stop being so sensitive and serious.

Eric, I Thought it was funny :D

We´r not that stupid i Europe  or.... Nhhaaaaa.

In how many threads is there a q. Is Shane touring? Is he Going to sing? etc etc. READ THE F***ING FAQ !!!!!!!

No dissrespect to anybody. One just have to able to take a joke.

It's up to you guys of coz and to your smashing sense of humour but when I read something like "Shane is dead" it doesn't make me smile. Even when i am aware it's supposed to be a joke. Do not know why... Ok, amuse yourself, boys.

Wow, MacRua, with all of the other stuff said about people, famous or not, on this forum, ..... And it was you who taught us not to care about the rules!
Is it just because its Shane? Are you, or are you not, his romantic butler?... because I'm starting to wonder about you again. :)

MacRua, i raely like your witty posts and your sence of humour, and ofcourse if someone started a thread that said Shane is dead, i wouldn´t think thats funny either, but now it was such a obvius joke, NO one could missunderstand that. or

I wouldn't think that would make anyone smile on this site. And I don't think I'd love to hear jokes about one of my friends in that way. But, we are all here because we basically want Shane to live forever and make more records. That said, MacRua, you can't pretend that the world doesn't awe at the remarkable endurance of himself and the Pogues.

May he continue to make the f***ers wonder.

Good, glad that's cleared up now. :)

So Shane WON"T be singing with the band in Philly?

How stupid of some to think that this might be true, I mean Shane leading such a healthy lifestyle and all. How absurd!

Do any of these posts sound familliar?

Eric V wrote:Be early, be patient, reload often, be prepared, be lucky, and don't be greedy. Good luck everyone. One hour to go.

Well, I'm screwed. I had three in my cart for the 17th but my password wasn't being excepted, and now I see I lost them.

.... and once again a generous Medusan helped me out and I'll be going to NYC on Paddy's Day.

Glonn even gave me a ticket last year.

(ok, so it wasn't DzM)

He had the forum password, but after getting tixs in his shopping cart,
couldn't access the proper personal password, or whatever...more than one poster had to try last years personal password, after initially trying to use the one they registered this year. And since it took seconds for the 17th NYC presale to sell out, therein lies the problem.Or that's how I read it.

You are the "bumb" ass!

And,I am so smart...smrt!

I see that the presale for this show sold out quickly. Any idea when it will go on sale to the general public?
