this or was it just a rumour?

Thanks for the link, I hadn't seen that interview. Shane seems so much happier there than anything I've seen in a long time, it's nice to see him speak of his friends so fondly. As for Belfast, didnt they play on the 2004 tour? Judging by the numbers travelling down to Dublin by train I don't see any problem selling out Belfast. Get your finger out PROMOTERS.

Yes in the interview shane says he wants to play belfast let alone sell it out!! every year i travel to Dublin with about 30 friends to go and see the pogues, everyone in the North is CRAZY about THE POGUES!! So they need to hurry up and get their asses up to belfast!! Wile craic if they did!!

Question about the Wiltern Shows This Fall

Post Thu Jul 12, 2007 6:34 pm

Hey everybody! Looking forward to the west coast tour this fall! Does anyone know whether the pre-sale tix for the Wiltern are pit seats? I noticed that pit seats are being sold separately tomorrow when the tix go on sale to the general public. Thanks for your help! Richard

Hi Rich!
I checked livenation.com, and they're showing Pit as $55, with standard GA cheaper. Artist Arena is selling $55 tickets only.

Last year, though, the Artist Arena presales were clearly indicated as Pit, but this year, they're not.

There was already a pricing issue with the House of Blues (I'm attending there this year) so perhaps this is another mix-up.

You know, I just realized I had no real answer for your question. But it's nice to say "hi" anyway.

The Wiltern pit is ususally first come, first serve. Wrist bands are generally given out once you are deemed fit for the pit. This does vary occasionally, so you may want to try to get through to the Wiltern and question them about this. If you can't get through to someone to ask, try dialing the handicapped info number. It will be one of your options when calling. You will have better luck getting through to someone Pit tix are GA, so they should be the same price. Of course, I could be wrong.

BTW: Is Carly your daughter? If so, Madeleine played with her in summer softball league a couple years ago. We were wondering what the hell we were doing living out in Bush (our dimwit prez) country  . Danny
