When you do eventually play Glasgow again is there any chance of returning to Barrowlands?!!!! The Academy is not in same league. Xmas gigs were great but would love to hear you back home in Barras!

We're working on it. If it's possible, it'll happen. These things are not always within our range of control. But we love the Barras, and we can't go letting Christy Moore claim the place as his own, can we?

according to vrt-text The Pogues will be performing
in Lokeren, Belgium on August 12th

can't believe that, is it true?

The dates in Lichfield, Goteburg and Belgium are the only shows we have scheduled at the moment and there are no plans to do any more just now. We did look at some German dates but it did not make economic sense to accept any of them.

that changes my holiday plans

eventually, eleven years after the last gig in Ghent
I enjoyed Manchester Academy 2001 & Arena 2004 very much, as well as
the first Brixton show last year

makes me feel comfortable

ok thx for the info....what a pity...really...this is disappointing....there are so much pogues fans here...i know you know that....what doas that "economic" thing means? did the promoters didn´t offered enough money for a concert with you?
