If you play Nottingham again this year can you play at Rock city as the Ice arena is A BIG TIN SHED!
The band were megga but the arena did them no justice at all.
Saw them play at Rock city, Nottingham in 1988 on the 'Nobody tells me anything tour' IT WAS BRILLIANT BEST PLACE IVE EVER SEEN THEM PLAY!
Also saw Shane play there with the popes a few times aswell.
A smaller venue with a lot better sound!

now as tis' official.. Serbs are broingin' band called Red Hot Choilly Peppers.. to play in front of 60.000 people in Serbia.. tis to happen in June 2007. oi thoink... so, let me rephrase thois.. oi don't loisten to thois band, yes oi know tis' popular and all.. honestly it annoys me but the conclusion is Serbs tend to broing commercial stuff here, selling more, having more, earning more.. tis' not oimportant how good band is, what they play, whats the message, attitude, essence.. the dissaponting stuff really! so, it doesn't appear strange they're not invoiting Pogues and seeing thois oi can completely support Philip's views on the whole issue.. tis' not Pogues to blame for not beeing here, somehow oi now tend to believe its more honourable and reasonable to see Pogues in Oireland, UK, States.. where good stuff are really appreciated, than in a place loike Serbia.

So whats wrong with Red Hot????? It´s a great band and i suppose its better than nothing??? isn´t it??? :roll:

If the Pogues toured again in DC it would make my millenium! My wife and I saw them at the 9:30 club last year and it was the best concert I have ever been to, even better than front row center in Hershey, PA to see The Who. My wife wasn't really a fan but I dragged her along and she is now an absolute Pogues fanatic. Please do it for my wife :-)
