Wouldn't be easy for me, as I'm without any car. I could take the MARC (regional train) from DC to a Baltimore venue, but I'd be hitting up you and yr wife for a ride back to the wilds o' Prince George's County.
And -- uh -- my immigrant great-grandfather (a plumber) and my electrician grandfather and father were/are DC natives and are solidly working class. DC's got plenty of "well-connected" white-collar folks who are soullessly trying to pump up their curriculum vitae, but there are plenty o' working class folk in DC.

You're welcome to come and play in my front garden if you like, I will write the setlist of course but you can pick one of the encores, and if you could all stand in your allocated square of lawn and nod your heads in time to my signal that would be great. And don't be late. Thanks. And please don't play next door instead because I actually really like my own garden better and theirs has crap acoustics anyway. I am sure this would be a sellout as my garden has a capacity of just 12. This would save money on security.
I am sure you must be pencilling this into the Pogue-diary as we speak.
