Actually, compare the Pogues tour locations in America to Republican vs. Democrat areas. Hmmmm

Or let´s be more specific.(north of Europe) SWEDEN

Would love to have The Pogues over here for Midsummer.

I´ll recomand the band a try of this. I´ll arange the midsummer party for the band and the crew, thats a promise. And if you don´t have heard about Swedish "midsommarfest" ask somone who´s been here, I´m sure you´ll like it.

Cheers and hope to see the Pogues in Sweden in the near future.

They should play Sweden, but it could be TOO COLD for Shane and Co as winter is upon us. Brrrrrr!

All kidding aside -- I would love to see the Pogues in Sweden. It would be great to see Irish music performed in that wonderful country. I love the movies made there (in sub-titles of course).

Toronto

All this talk about touring... when are the Pogues playing in Toronto? They are guaranteed a great crowd, if not a sellout.

Pogues come to Australia

Post Wed Nov 15, 2006 1:34 pm

Goodday everyone,how are you all?

James Fearnley and Philip Chevron, I know you read this forum sometimes, how are you? Good on you for getting back together again and playing music. When are you going to come to Australia? In 2006 you'll have played Japan and America; to get from one to the other you just about fly over our heads. I'm sure there are plenty of Pogues fans out here that would make your visit worthwhile. We're a country full of immigrants, Irish and other; come and play "And the Band PLayed", "South Australia", "Thousands are Sailing" down here. And all of the others. The Pogues have been the soundtrack to my life, I'd say it's a fair bet there's a few others out here as well.

What do you reckon?

Hi Steve. We rarely refuse a reasonable offer. It helps if we get paid lots too. 8)

Too bad.

I think you would have a great show in a place like the one you played in Oporto - in 1989.
