Other threads see people bitching and moaning about how they play their city 7 years in a row and how they want new material or a new Christmas tree stage prop. Whoever, is booking the Pogues needs to realize the following....Toronto is the 3rd largest market in North America....The Canadian dollar is nearly at par with the American dollar....and mostly the Pogues haven't been here in decades!!!! How about a quick tour of Toronto, and Montreal a weekends work.
Please work out a deal to come here I know maybe you aren't getting the guarantee you want or some other thing. But there is a huge audience here, I am sure something could be worked out.
Canada is beginning to feel horribly left out. What is it???? We can CHANGE!!

Eckhard wrote:But seriously: They played both in Boston and New York
The travelling distance from Toronto to Boston is about 880 km, Toronto to New York is about 800km. With today's cheap airline tickets no big deal. And hey, there isn't even a greater body of water in between. So driving is no big deal as well.
