Do you guys plan on hanging around at the venues after the shows to meet with fans? That would be very cool.

We thought it was mostly pretty good, allowing for a few first night nerves. We've had to drop "Star Of The County Down", as Andrew has had quite bad laryngitis for the past 6 weeks. The audience was great! 8)

I understand Sean is now with us or scheduled to be, though I can't say I have yet seen him.

I personally miss as many Aftershows as I make it to. But especially when, due to an administrative error tonight, there were no dry clothes to change into, an unusual predicament but enough to ensure I was in a fast car to the hotel while the last notes of "Fiesta" were still ringing. One Pogue struck down by laryngitis is probably enough for now.

Well, as you know, we wouldn't be here if it was too damn cold. Yesterday was sultry, almost tropical. Today, I dunno, I slept till it was time to go to work. Japan is of course just as prone to the effects of Climate Chaos as anywhere else, so I dare not venture a reply to your second question.

October in Japan can be pretty nice. The weather doesn't really get cold until December. Actually, spring and fall are the best seasons here.

I had a ticket for the Osaka show, but I had to give it to my wife because I had some work difficulties--the first time I've EVER missed a show because of work. She had a good time, though--a new Pogues fan is never a bad thing. I'd love to know what the setlist was--I'm currently bugging my wife "did they play this one? how about this one?" Anyway, I'm glad that I got to see the last Osaka show--hope you make it back again!

Whatever we played in New York in March, that's what we played tonight, except for "Star Of The County Down". So "Fairytale" made its Japanese "live" debut tonight, which seemed to be a popular addition. Shane is in good voice and good form. He sends his love to all.
