Just a quote about Japanese fans - and about band preparations. ;) From today's Herald:

The Pogues' festive tour hits Glasgow again in December and group member Spider Stacy, asked in the current issue of The Word magazine how they "prepare" for the Christmas gigs, replied: "Some of the band start drinking in April."
He also reveals that their teenage fans in Japan, once so quiet, had become extremely wild. "It's like there's been some mix-up with a lorry-load of blood transfusions from Glasgow and they've all wound up in Osaka and Tokyo, running round like drink-crazed football supporters."
Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.

Fiesta a la Japan

Post Fri Nov 17, 2006 5:33 am

The story behind the wigs are as follows :

1.) James is secretly auditioning for "last of the Mohicans 2 " beat out Daniel Day Lewis hands down for looks and Agility on stage

2.) Jem isn't really from Manchester area but 125th and Lennox Ave NYC . Has been seen performing at "The Lennox Bar" and in Michaels on the first Monday of each month on 55th street. Rumoured that he is really Charlie Parker's nephew

3.) Philip is showing solidarity with Andrews Drum Kit Logo

4. ) Joey, well He's being Joey, comes in all colours and is good for a laugh.
Actually the only DVD's that worked on his computer were the free Teletubbies ones in his Hotel room. Watched all 8 seasons several times while in Japan. Thought it was a " learn to speak Japanese in 24 hours" instructional

Actually, The saki was to blame as the tequilla usually on the rider was not supplied so this is what happened during " FIESTA '

Take your pick
Don't believe a word I say and less of what i don't know:twisted:

Thought it had something to do with Billy Hatchet and Mohawks
