The Parting Glass

They did Parting Glass in 2001 and it sounded really good. Sunday they did a extended jam at the end which was cool.

I'm not so much a fan of fiesta as I used to be but on the 22nd Dec I realised why this tune is a such a great tune... before I realised my brothers cousins and friends had me dragged into the middle of the pit and all in a circle going nuts for this song! Yes - best moment of 22nd gig for sure! ;)

I felt the same about DOT its been played way to often. Its a great song,no doubt but people only think of DOT & FONY when they hear the Pogues name mentioned. But having been in the pit the first night of Brixton last year it was a highlight. The crowd all became one.
