As Philip pointed out when I requested this song as a "guest", this is not a Pogues song. However, it seems to me that I heard a few numbers that were not originally written by the Pogues performed live by them just last month.
Damn I love this song.
Agreed a great song, sometimes I wonder hows some of Shane's solo work would have sounded having been recorded with The Pogues playing instead of The Popes.
We will hopefully hear Donegal Express and Aisling on the rarities box next year. Victoria and what became A Mexican Funeral In Paris were recorded as instrumentals with the Pogues on the Hell´s Ditch demos

My first choice would be Misty Morning, Albert Bridge. But I'd love to hear Waltzing Matilda again

Let´s hope they keep Greenland in the set.

Yes lets
Although I do keep getting it muddled up with South Australia when I sing it in my head. Did Shane sing this live, or Spider?

There's a thing, I wonder if any of the stuff from the box set could make the set list? Would be an interesting one. Or even better still a new single perhaps?

I was always under the impression that Terry sang this song.

By any chance you’re the '‘Guest" that posted in the Official Music part of the fora?
Just a hunch.

It'd be pretty cool to see Cotton Fields get worked back into the setlist. Awesome live tune. Ditto South Australia.
Greenland Whale Fisheries should stay in too. Kicked ass when I heard it at the Wiltern.
