I'm thinking something special for San Diego, if they are allowed to play at all. Hell's Ditch or Lorca's Novena, or something else dark.
What kind of fuckery is this?

I reckon the set list needs mixing up a bit. Heres how i would have it, only using the songs they currently play.

body of an american
irish rover
bottle of smoke
sunnyside of the street
young ned of the hill
boy from the county hell
white city
rainy night in soho
tuesday morning
if i should fall from grace with god
1000s are sailing
dirty old town

repeal
sick bed of cuchulain
turkish song of the damned
sally maclennane

fiesta
fairytale of new york
streams of whiskey

ive missed a few out i think but who cares.

Lonesome Highway

As Philip pointed out when I requested this song as a "guest", this is not a Pogues song. However, it seems to me that I heard a few numbers that were not originally written by the Pogues performed live by them just last month.

Damn I love this song.

I doubt that The Pogues would play any Shane & The Popes numbers, its a shame but it looks as though those songs are retired at least unless Shane tours with The Popes again.

Agreed a great song, sometimes I wonder hows some of Shane's solo work would have sounded having been recorded with The Pogues playing instead of The Popes.
