"Sit Down By The Fire" was only ever once played correctly. Fortunately, the tapes were rolling at the time. A minor miracle of timing occurs somewhere between 1:39 and 1:52 which we never managed before or since.

Not a good idea leaving out 'Medley' and 'Boys From the County Hell' last year. And as much as I like 'Tuesday Morning', it's starting to make me feel more like Monday morning. How about doing 'Wake of the Medusa' instead and 'Greenland Whale Fisheries' instead of 'Rain Street? I'm sure Shane can handle it. 'Gartloney Rats' would also go down well.

I agree with the first part - Boys From The County Hell is one of the best Pogues songs IMO and a fantastic number for a live set.

I think Hell's Ditch would be pretty good, especially with that intro - love it!
