I can see your point that it may sad not to have Cait up on stage.Cait did add a lot to the reuions when she guested on vocals . But the ads I saw all said "Live In Concert With Full Original Line Up", followed by a list of names .The list of names makes it very clear.Caits name does not appear in the list , nor does John Hasler.
I guess this was a clue that they would not be there. Also you missed the word "Full " from your quote. I guess full would be the ad mans discription for this line as opposed to the "definitive line up " where Cait guested on vocals in previous reuion tours. At the end of the day it is The Pogues .Not the new & improved , whiter than white , better valve for money soap powder .Never trust an ad man , go see them for yourself.

I would agree with definitive line up. If it truly was the original line up then it would be much poorer due to missing Terry Woods and Phil Chevron.

Original Line Up

And still the adverts persist in claiming the live shows have the original line up when they don't. No disrespect to anyone but why do they do this?

It's the real reason the Beatles had to stop touring you know - their audience could not accept a line-up which did not include Pete Best and Stuart Sutcliffe. That's what Pete Best told me, anyway.

I cried when I saw Cait sing 'Fairytlale' at Brixton in 2004. Magic stuff. And then she did 'I'm A Man ...' - let the tears flow me boys, let them flow.

Wrong way round but it was indeed magical.
