Fall/Winter 2006 shows

My tickets arrived in the mail today...which made everything that much more real, and made the date that much closer.

I think I may just burst. :lol:

Friday, here we come!

Just went to the Grove last night, pretty crazy crowd, (and no offence to anyone) but all the older people up front with me got moved back by the younger assholes. There was a lot of kids tearing the people from the front row, didnt bug me, im kinda used to it by now but alot of people must not have seen it coming.

But otherwise it was a hell of a show, the first ive seen besides the crummy bootlegs I have, and I gotta say, I have a whole new respect for Spider, that guys just as crazy on stage now as he was in the old videos Ive seen of the band. I got in line around 2:00 thinking that there would be a long line before the start of the show, damn was I wrong, the first people behind me didnt get there untill 5:45.

The Grove (or the pogues, not sure really) didnt allow photos to be took, so if anyone sees any shots by the pro photogrophers, Id really appreciate a link to them if anyone finds them.

While not entirely a pro, I'll have photos posted to (or linked from) the gallery on pogues.com next week some time. Also watch http://www.shanemacgowan.net for Scallywag's photos. He enjoys fantastic access and shoots much of the show.

Ok, I am not asking for any official word, nor insider information, or anything of the like.

But, if I was to say begin planning Christmas presents for my family and I wanted to leave in the possibility of Pogues tickets for Boston at some point in the coming year or so, would it be a safe bet?

What are the chances, if you were a betting man, that Boston would be graced at some point with the Pogues once again?

Good?

Bad?

Wait and see?

There are no announced shows other than the upcoming December shows in the UK and Ireland.

It's been pointed out before that each show might be the last show, but that the future is nebulous too.
