what will it be? no more gigs until summer?or beyond? or will it be longer? Maybe if the popes are going to make a "comeback" the pogues will be quiet for a while?

Maybe they'll spend some time with their families and won't tour for a few years.

well id settle for another xmas tour,when ya get ta my age the magic of xmas has long gone ,but then you see the pogues are touring and suddenly you feel like a kid whos just recieved his best present ever.

if it happens i just hope they play cardiff again as that is one hell of a city to have fun in.

but if ya get bored MR.C,theres always a small festival in devon that you could attend on aug 20th :lol:

Well..... I wonder if this is a clever way of suggesting that they are going to play in Chicago. "My kind of town, Chicago is..... my kind of town, Chicago is...." Could it be? A Chicago, Austin, Denver, Vegas, L.A., San Fran tour in the Fall and then back to the UK and Ireland for Xmas?

Maybe I'm reading too much into it?

I hope they tour again at xmas. I've got a few mates who want to sample the delights of a Pogues concert as I have been banging on about them since the Manchester gig in December.

I think their reputation is growing with every tour and there will be even more demand if they decide to tour again this xmas. must be reasonably lucrative for them too.

What about The Pogues - The Movie, like Spiceworld well, expect staring The Pogues. Get a host of people that either no one has heard of, or no one really like to have cameos.
