the best gig of the NYC shows?

Got back from N.Y, I went to the saturday and sunday gigs. I think the saturday gig was better. The band and especially Shane seemed much more to enjoy the performing. Anyone who went to all four gigs? Which were the best?

I thought they were really all fantastic and rank highly among the best gigs I've seen in my life. That being said having gone to all four, I think my personal favorite was either St. Patty's (Friday) or Sunday.

Some of that could have to do with my particular level of inebriation on those evenings, however.

All four shows were stellar. Having said that, I'd put Saturday and Sunday just slightly ahead of Friday, and Friday a wee bit ahead of Thursday. In other words, just as in London, the shows seem to get just a little bit better every night!

Thursday for me - I loved all of them, but I think because that was the first one and I was so excited for it.

Shane had completely lost the tempo of the song, his vocal was quite a few beats ahead of the band -- and going faster. They couldn't get him to slow down, so they finally stopped and started over.
