Oh - speaking of pics, I took a few each night but the first, Once I'm home and can get a proper look at them, I'll send the decent ones (assuming there are any) to the gallery. A quick check through suggests that I got one or two good ones. One strange thing - I tried to get a shot of Shane doing his little "White City" walk. I knew it would be a bit blurry but thought it would be fun to try to capture him. I took it as he was crossing in front of James, then looked at it - it's a lovely shot of James, but Shane is nowhere to be seen! (cue spooky music here)

Tall people have the advantage in these situations. I wish I was one of 'em!

BTW- Seanchai was good. I enjoyed their show. At least the the last few songs as we were getting on the floor.

Hey Chris Byrne, That was me who shook your hand while you were going up the escalator and almost made you loose your balance. You may not remember. Sorry there! Good to see you again after all these years. I talked to Larry Kirwin (Black'47) for about ten minutes too.

Same here, I know I have a couple good ones. I was pretty far back so they're not spectacular. Of course the photo of the fried Mars bar I had for my St Patrick's Day feast is a prized possession.

Was Towers Of London the last of the opening acts before The Pogues? Some of us liked 'em and thought they were fun. I'm curious, what was the name of the band before them? (If this has been posted elsewhere, I apologize.)

PS: To the two girls in front of me that told the security guard I was "bothering" you because my hand was on "your section" of the rail--especially the one who threw the elbows--that was really fucken lame. In a situation when people are as tightly packed as we were last night, it's better to be more considerate, rather than less.

Argh, I hate that - the way some people act, you'd think they were paying rent for their piece of the rail. Selfish, and stupid too - when you give the folks behind you room to put their hands on the rail to brace themselves, there's less chance they'll slam into you when things get rough.

It was so lovely to meet you too!! Flight home was fine, yes DzM I DID sport my Pogues scarf through the airport and cuddled it the whole plane ride home.

You know it's probably time to go home when the bartenders, security outside and inside at the Nokia all recognize you.

It was Seanchai (The guy formerly of Black'47)

Shane had mentioned that Seanchai is his favourite US band.

Thanks a lot, Guest :-)

Ooh, I just found the "See different sizes". I was wondering why the pics at Flickr were all so uniform in size.

I was at the show on March 16th at nokia theatre. I was front and center. and by front i mean first one, on the metal bars in front of the stage. I however made the BIG mistake of wearing a skirt. And some big socttish man had his hand up there for a good portion of the night, amongst other mens hands that found their way to my legs, ect. eh it was a small price to pay though for the pogues.
