I think I'm cursed. Trying to get tickets for the 3/15 or 3/18 show. My story with Shane MacGowan has been a sad one. I first got tickets for a Shane show in 1995 when I was 18. The venue wouldn't let me in because I was under 21. Then I went to see him in 2000 and he didn't show up. THen I had tickets 2yrs later and I got ill and had to sell them. I have been trying for a month to get tix for these shows without being gouged by people trying to make a buck. Today someone emails me with 2 extras....good seats at face. My fiancee really wants to go too and she said if she could get off work tonight- she'd go with me. No luck. The show is over 2hrs away and I have to be up at 6:30am the next day. So I don't want to do the drive alone. SO- we can both go tomorrow or in NYC on Sat. If anyone has any extras for sale, please help! Sorry for the sob story.

Not to poke fun at you, and I hope you get squared away, but right from the start I started thinking of Old Main Drag as I read your post, and its a stretch, but one can make it fit.

Yeah....I guess that could fit....at least i didn't get "picked up by the coppers and kicked in the balls." Yet.

Try craiglist. I've seen some popping up for "face" value.

Nor "raped and abused"! Its funny how the crowd sings that line with great gusto at the shows -- imagine, thousands of people singing at the top of their lungs, and everyone knows the words. I've been wondering what that must sound like on stage. Anyway, I think you'll get in.

Beware Craigslist. There's a poster somewhere on these boards that lost $120 to someone on Craigslist.
