.30-06, I am SO with you man. I can't remember when I first heard the Pogues. I was still a teen, which makes it some 15ish years ago. The first time I heard a song (it was sickbed!) I thought "This has to be a joke..." By the end, I thought it was just about the most fantastic and beautiful thing I had ever heard, and I went out SAME DAY and bought every Pogues CD I could find.
When I heard they were defunct, I was crushed. Now, I have tickets to the show on the 19th! Four days before my birthday!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, let it be the whole band. People have scared me by saying Shane might not make it. It will ruin my whole trip. Shane isn't the whole band for me or anything, but hand to God, I love his pipes!
