Mr. C is on the East Coast of the US of A. That's GMT/UT - 5. So at this moment it's 18:07, or 6:00pm.

Mr MacGowan has been in Washington since yesterday afternoon. Ted Kennedy has been alerted.

I'd be more concerned if Teddy was driving Shane to the gig....

Oh yeah *edit*...KICK ARSE! If yer not already doin' so as I type! Then, tell me how much a promoter has to offer to get ye DownUnder again!

Hell, I'd BORROW the money from a bloody bank...(borrow, what ees thees 'borrow' stupeedo, what ees yourr gonn an' mask forr do ju theenk, meester?)... a mate an' I were chatting re: this the other day. Hosting the Pogues, that is, NOT robbing banks in dodgy Mexican bandit disguises.

i just wanted to say that i really, REALLY appreciate that both of the 9:30 club shows began almost exactly on time! i have had bad experiences there before where the bands sell out the show and then keep everyone waiting way past the scheduled time---when the club is that crowded it is really uncomfortable to wait for, say, a half-hour to an hour, you can't move around easily to get drinks, and you are not allowed to sit down anywhere on the main floor! so having things happen on time really makes it so much easier on everybody's comfort level and i wish a few other bands would learn that lesson!

pogues go bragh!!
