Only a little. It is a sappy pop song, though. I'll be going to the bathroom (actually in the men's room, for you Londoners who thought I might like to go right there in front of the stage) during that song on the 15th.

yes its definitly pogues inspired. the chorus to sunshine highway has the same melody to the verse of london girl.. if you half squint your eyes so it goes a bit blurrey

Bummer about Conan's show. I was hoping it would've come off.

Anyway, enjoy DC and the East, Mr. Chevron, and thanks for coming out.

Well, that is a relief. At least you actually made it to the States. I am assuming the enitre band made it w/out any problems?

It would've been nice if we could've gotten the cherry blossoms' blooming to coincide with the Pogues' arrival. Even with a relatively mild winter, March is early for the blooming of the cherry blossoms, but it would've made for a nice greeting, I think.
