I would like the Pogues to play in much marcle...but it will never happen.I travelled for 5 hours in a car with my dad and the most annoying little sister in the world and fucking wyvern fm for 5 hours on my birthday to make it to the christmas cardiff show. Its what you do..its what dedication is all about. Its all worth it in the end :) .We are all lucky to even have the Pogues still preforming live at all

Thats ok... its a village near Ledbury town that i was unfortunate enough to be born in.The only thing the place is really known for is that a serial killer called fred west came from here...He used to babysit my sister, thats my claim to fame :(

I'm a very happy Canuck (from Toronto) who will be attending the show in the Big Apple on Saturday night...and yes, I basically had to part the Red Sea to get myself there.

I can't complain that my favorite band is even still playing these days!

I'm just happy as hell that they've even decided to play on the some continent...

Peace to all - I deserve much of this I guess, but I can't let the hockey barb slide.

Chill Canuck. Well... actually that's probably a bad choice of words. Relax. Care for some Swiss Miss Cocoa? I'm off to have a swiss cheese sandwich, and looking at my Swiss watch I see its about time I ought to be tuning into the Olympics. I can't imagine what could have happened today.

Wow, how did that happen? I saw the Swiss play a game in Salt Lake in 2002. They played Belarus, or was it the Ukraine? They were BAD. They could never get the puck out of the neutral zone (sorry, I had to say it).

I think the Canadian and US teams would be better if they made up their teams of non-NHL players who trained together before the Olympics (see 1980). You can't stick a bunch of guys together a few days before the Olympics and expect good hockey. Just my humble opinion.

I agree. As I was watching the USA - Slovakia game, at times I couldn't even tell which players were on which team. All but one of the Slovak players but one was on an NHL team.

OK - this is embarrassing - my Canucks lose to the Swiss and the Czechs... I am going to zip it.

Please someone get the Pogues to T.O. for a welcome distraction!

What an impressive foresight! I do hope that the tomorrow's match will confirm it. ;) Anyway, let's both wait with zipping it up till the quarter-finals.
