The most recent information I have on this from one of the band is "no."

The future is uncertain. Things may change. But as of a few weeks ago the information was quite firm that this small set of shows did not mean that The Pogues are in business again, or that they were in any way considering a full tour.

his voice is a bit smoked out, when i saw him with the popes it wasnt a great show

However ive seen him twice with the pogues(december 2001, june 2002), its like he makes a bit more effort. Those two gigs were definitely the best of my life and ive seen a lot of big acts (iron maiden, the cure, the pixies, darkness, red hot chilli peppers, foo fighters, stranglers, HIM, flogging molly, green day, faithless, the hives,White stripes therapy? travis christy moore) believe me nothing compares,

You're being given an opportunity others might have missed out on\will miss out on, book that ticket you fool!

I have to admit I've not seen the Pogues live since the 80's at the Barra's in Glasgow, wild nights indeed!!!

Are there any reviews of the gigs with Mr MacGowan?

It is over 8 years since I last saw the Pogues without SM and they were bloody awful.

Generally just a lot of meaningless penny whistle.

Anyway hopefully they are back to there old emotive best with a mosh pit to fear
