you're right man, Shane played all instruments on the albums, wrote all the songs, invented music himself... lol

look Shane is one of the finest writers of the last century, but would he be known for it now, if he didn't find the right people to play with???

DzM said it allready.

God help me, I just heard about this on Virgin web radio, I have half a mind to fly to Ireland for this concert. I only hope they'll come to the US, any place they like just so long as we can hear the whole band play, yay

The Pogues were a colaborative effort between many talented individuals. Shane's execellent writing and voice were a large part of The Pogues, but there was a great deal more than just him.

Ya id give you your due but hero worship is wasted on so many but not on this man. my only point was he was only slightly more special than the rest of them and i aknowledge the other members huge contribution.

Sorry. Nope.

When I've asked about this I've been told in very clear terms that this is a limited tour and that it is most certainly not being extended in time or geography.

The future is uncertain so maybe they'll change their minds. I really tend to doubt it though.

When will the Pogues visit the continent again?
Three years ago I went to Manchester Academy - everything else was sold out - but this year the venues are impossible for me
