I wholeheartedly agree. I thank my lucky stars that I happened to check in on this site last week after a dry spell of several weeks--and discovered the US tour dates, AND the presale information, only two days before it occurred. I'd been lurking on this site for months, but didn't check every day...

The bottom line is that there are too few tickets for too many fans. That is a definite good thing for the Pogues...

I'd like to thank all of the helpful responses to my posting of yesterday. I'm mostly appreciative that I did have a forum to vent, whine, complain. I attribute my frustration to reflecting on the old days when I stood in line for tickets and if I was in the first half of a ticket line it was obvious I'd probably score tickets. If I was in the back half of the line it was pretty obvious that I was S.O.L. and should have gotten my ass in gear sooner. I kept up when ticket sales went to the Internet--but am obviously showing my age that I was unaware that so many fans use a pre-sale option offered on band sites that I screwed up buying tickets for my husband's birthday.

I remain living and learning the hard way in Arlington.
