Tour T-Shirts and That

Post Tue Dec 13, 2005 5:02 pm

Now that the tour has kicked off, has anyone bought a t-shirt from this years tour? What are they like? How much?

What else have they got on sale?

Cheers.

All shirts were £20-£25. A couple in green, and a gray one also which had Got on a lucky one... Came in 18-1 on the back. £20.00 is just too much really IMO.

i believe merch prices are that high in bigger venues because the venue puts an extra charge on top of the tshirt prices.

A band i used to like Against Me(well used to like before they went crap) usually charges about $10 for a tee but when they supported green day on tour in america the venue put an additional charge on top of the orginal merch price to $25!

The tea towels were retrospectively popular AFTER everyone neglected to buy one last year. The good news is they're on sale this year too, along with some nifty vaudeville-style posters and a FONY T shirt. Oh, and Jem's new album with DM Bob.

Yeah, pictures of the merch would be nice so that I could have a look before we go and decide to buy them here, rather than in the middle of a crowd of people with little time to decide.

Maybe it'd be a good idea to put the left over merch on sale on the site?

I will ask the merchandising people if they can supply images.

Pirates - they have to make a living too, I suppose, but it would be nice if they took a bit more trouble. Last year, I saw a lady selling Santa hats outside The Point in Dublin bearing the legend "MERRY Christmas Your Arse"
