think this has been done in the states .
after a gig the cd of that gig is on sale shortly after,therefore you are getting a momento of the gig you attended.
if you cant hang around to get it ,its available online to order or download at a discount because theres a special number printed on your ticket stub.

i think it would be an excellent way to raise more money for kirstys appeal ,plus fans get a reminder of the gig (which i really need as i can never remember much after a pogues gig anyway plus i aint as young as i was )

probably a bit late to organize for british leg of tour but could be a goer in the states.

what do you think good idea or bad?????

I do find it unlikely that a band who waited over 20 years to release a live album they liked, would be persuaded to put out a new one every day, however worthy the cause. Nice try, though!

true ,but the fans would appreciate it i`m sure plus you`d get a decent copy and it would stop people selling shite on ebay for eg.

Pearl Jam does this - fabulous idea IMO. I personally prefer these types of live albums because they are not edited/polished etc... It sounds more like the true concert experience.
