Boston question

Post Tue Dec 06, 2005 7:06 pm

where will the $39 tickets get you....ground floor general admission perhaps? Or is it gonna be an all-seated affair(which would be a terrible idea) and where will the more expensive tickets get you?

Link to Orpheum seating chart above - I've never been there, but it looks like an all-seater, kind of similar to the Beacon Theater in NY, in that is has a large balcony.

Ive never seen (or hear of of) the seats being removed from the Orpheum - even for renevation. There are plenty of GA standing room places the Pogues could play in Boston that can be filled with a few thousand head of humans, but the powers that be chose not to book them there. The Orpheum is a wonderful theatre and they have had bands with much more active fans than the Pogues' so the place will stay intact. Its a good stage, in that one can get a good wide view from pretty much anywhere.

There are really no bad seats at the Orpheum. It's pretty small and you can see verything from everywhere.
