Well everyone, my stomach is sick with anticipation for my flight which leaves very early tomorrow am.

This will be my first time ever seeing the Pogues (hey I live in the states) and I'm making the trip to Dublin solo just to see them.

Wish everyone a safe journey.
See you all at the pub...

Gonna sadly miss the pub, as my Orange County-Dublin flight doesn't even land until 15:30 show day (allowing 90 min to hotel, 60 min to check in and settle/change, then 20 min walk to the Point). I could use a tailwind and a spot of luck........

I'll join cat and admit to anticipation bordering on the ridiculous (or is it sublime?). I'll probably cry like a baby when the band lets into "Streams"!

3 days to go!!!

Bit bolloxed, mate reckons he can't go 'til about 6, f*ck that. Think I have to work until 4 myself, so it'll be after 5 by the time I get there. Working on that today though... And no, I haven't a fucking clue what I'll be sporting. :?

Arrived in Dublin a little later than planned (about 10 past 5 or so..) and spent the next hour looking for the pub, thanks to a lying bastarding taxi driver.. :)

EVENTUALLY, I got there. Stumbled in the door to find the place absolutely heaving!! Had a bit of a ramble about but unfortunately I had absolutely no idea who or what the fuck I was actually looking for!! So I spent most of the night just chatting to some headcase from Galway. G'wan Gerry ye aul bollix. :)

Anyway, how did you all get on? Sorry I didn't "make" it.. Had the most fantastic night of my life though!! Pogues fans, I love you.

More tomorrow, too pissed.. :D
