Just to represent DC on this forum:

March 10 @ the 9:30 Club
Tickets officially on sale @Ticketmaster Dec. 10
Pre Sale: Thursday, December 8 @5:30 EST

Yes, there is plenty of interest on this forum in the New York shows, but when the DC show goes on sale I predict that we won't let ticket sales lag. I was at a Shane & the Popes show in the late 90's and the crowd was outstanding. Since DC will be the Pogues first US show I think that we will be in for something special. Thanks boys for including us on the tour.

No doubt in my mind that Paddy's Day will be an amazing experience. Probably a special guest or two...??? But alas, I am going to try for the 9:30 Club show. And I'm still trying to figure out a way to do one of the NY shows as well.

Just in case enybody missed the other thread, DC tickets went on sale at 10:00 Am EST via the 9:30 club web site http://www.930.com. Get em while they last.

New York, a metro area of almost 19 million folks took 24 hours to sell out the St. Pat's Day show while DC, a metro area a quarter the size of NYC, took one hour to sell out. Well done. Sorry to those that weren't able to get tickets. I think that, if possible, our ticket sales justify another show or 2 from the boys. What do you say Chevron?
