can anyone tell me the best pubs to go to before the gig,not been over that part of the city much and hate paying the price's in the town

My friend there keeps telling me that the Scotia (on Stockwell street) is a great place to meet up before and after the gig. I'll be heading there at least one night, hope others will join me!
