bas gan sagairt yeah canterbury is fine and dandy for the tues and weds but I was thinking of the swan which is down the road on way to stockwell for after the thursday gig. stays open late and has a live band!! :) Obviously it won't compare to the band we would of had just seen.

Let me know what ye think... :)

I used to love the Swan but haven't been there in ages. Vatican Sessions were great, and Duelling Banjos - speaking of which, whatever happened to Tom? Is he recovering, playing again, or what?

But I don't think it's a good idea for after the show, there may be a tube strike looming that week which would not be amusing at all for out-of-towners. Probably better to talk the Canterbury landlady into staying open late?

White Horse is on Brixton Hill, five mins walk past the Fridge, Prince Albert is on Coldharbour Lane bang on the frontline.

My flight leaves in a few very short hours - can't wait! I'll be at the Regent Palace and heading to London for the 20th and 21st shows, and hope to see everyone there!

I head over on Saturday night - I am going to the Tuesday show, but I'll be hanging around Piccadilly Circus in the mean time. Anybody want to meet up? Just let me know where!

Tuesday afternoon, I'll be taking up a chair at the Canterbury - I'll be the guy with a green Boston Red Sox hat! :)

I was in the Canterbury last night for a few drinks before the david gray concert. :))

The album they have on the jukey is IISFFAGOG!! :D

Those heading into the academy and like me are legal to drink - got asked for ID about 10 times last night. So if you look under 21 bring your ID with you.

Works great for me, I don't even have a hotel for the one night i'm in London so I needa loiter around town for a bit before I head back to the airport.

So is the Canterbury a go for all three nights then, but the Swan is only after the Thursday show??
