I was just going to start a thread for this!!

I am flying in from Chicago on 18-Dec - I arrive in London at 7 in the morning or something. I'll be attending the 20-Dec show. Staying at the The Regent Palace Hotel in Piccadilly Circus.

So, let's get a crew together - my first visit to London!

I was at the Canterbury last night - twas packed there was a benefit dance there! they've painted the outside which is nice (black) how do you get there? Hmm well if you get lost just ask for the Brixton Police station and its right next to that. Besides that if you are at that academy you walk up the high street is there just keep going over the high street and straight up there it is! or if you come out the tube station do a right walk down to somewhat the end of the road before there is a bit of a cross junction and turn right. (God, am I making a big thing of this?) lol!

When I told the landady last night to expect a few hardcore Pogues fans the nights of the shows her response was "we are well prepared for the Pogues fans" It should be good now -

Well, I'll be there for my cup of Earl Grey at "the loyal fans' office party" as that Irish Post article has it. Three of us 20th and 22nd in any case, not sure yet about 21st. MissW is the one in the green bikini, or what was it?

Plus, if I interpret that map correctly, the Canterbury Arms has the advantage of being on Popes Road. :lol:
