regarding places to stay in nyc.

There's some hostels on the upper west side (ie. west of central park, above 60th street)

this place always has all these european type people hanging outside and a nice garden out back:

it's at 103rd and amsterdam ave.

neighborhood is okay, lots of good food. . only 20 mins or so subway ride from times square. have never stayed there myself as I live nearby.

I heard rumors that shane will be playing at the st. patricks day show in NYC. can anyone confirm or deny these rumors. regardless, I'll be there

I spent hours Sunday looking at all the options for accommodations near the Nokia. Expedia stated that our chosen hotel "was unavailable for the 15th through the 20th." However, when I went on the Hotel website, I had no problem booking 5 nights. Purchased airfare through the airline, and ended up spending LESS than the "package" deals on travel websites.
Shop around.

Beats me. But searching for tickets for March 17 tells me that none are available, and searching for march 16 and March 18 happily gets me an offer to charge my credit card.

yeah im stupid, got some for the day AFTER st. pattys day. better for me though, i can get wasted and then go see the pogues the next day! :lol:
