Wow. This suits me perfect. I'm going to study in the U.S for the spring semester and spring break is around this period. Hopefully this time I will make it to see my first Pogues concert. Have been occupied with other things for both this xmas tour and the last.

I KNEW if I went over to the UK for shows, it would guarantee a US tour! And you all though I was nuts...!

But the Borgata, ugh. Not to dampen anyone's enthusiasm, but oh, what a horrible place to see a show. A big flat rectangle, poor sightlines, worse sound...sigh. I hate the fact that most acts don't play Philly anymore, they're booked at one of the bloody casinos instead.

Three nights in NYC, though, that's for me!!!

Woo-HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:D

I'm actually extremely happy for you boys over the pond, well done I do feel bad when you post over and over again requesting or asking about US gigs, but why'd you have to nick them over St Paddys time.

When will Boston tickets be available? I see a Christmas gift suggestion coming up!

Like Paddy's Pistol said, Boston's a hop skip and a jump away! And is not nearly half the pain in the ass a NYC show would be.

Boston in March is so easily doable. I'm speechless.

The last time I actually made plans to go to a concert in Boston was for Shane MacGowan in about 1997. Car packed and ready to go, I jumped on the forums for a quick hello before I left, just to find out Shane didn't make it to the US due to illness or broken bones. So, I went out for a drink at the restaurant I worked at at the time, and ended up $300. richer playing the video lottery terminals.

Regarding Boston vs. NYC, something to consider - the Orpheum is a beautiful old theater, and it's a seated venue. The NYC shows are at a new club (holds 2,100), and the shows will be GA.

And I meant to say this earlier but was too excited - thanks, Philip, for sharing the wonderful news!!

I might as well get the ball rolling with being greedy and whiny:
