Great reading, Firehazard! Maybe the cab driver read your previous installments and all the banging your head on the roof and getting lost in the tricky streets of Birmingham was done on purpose, to give you "cool" experiences to write about. Thanks for the travelogue – hopefully not the last one.

Don't know why it's taken me so long coming round to reading your tour journal, probably the same reason it's taken so long to come round to writing my own. Fair play to you. I was so taken up with your single-mindedness of purpose this time last year, and it's great to read about your getting to the Brum gig this year. It's nice to be reminded of some of the details I'd forgotten, you know, things Shane and Spider said from the stage, that sort of thing. A lot of it can just swirl by when you're up there, arrantly showing off, like I do, and I'm glad of your putting it down for me in your piece of writing.
