RICHB are you just click baiting?

I'd be very surprised if we ever saw The Pogues play live again.

Agreed. Me, I'd like to see (hear) some new material from Shane, or Spider, or James, or...

I heard the Raft pays people .000036 cents everytime someone clicks on your post.

I agree with the good Father-I doubt we will see the Pogues again, other than a one-off in Ireland or England. At his book signing, the Maestro said the biggest hurdle is Shane flying to North America.

I would love to see the Pogues at Christmas again! I feel privileged enough to have seen them on several winter tours.
It's sad to think the band might be over but if it proves to be I can only wish them well and thank them for the memories!
I love the Pogues!

Good to see you back on board, Robert.
Christmas just isn't the same without a few Pogues gigs. Maybe they'll prove us wrong.

I've never been far away Fr. McGreer! I have a look on the website/forum every now and again to see if there's any news.
It does seem a bit quiet for all thing Pogues at the moment.
I can promise that if they tour again I'll be there! :)

I think they are done with live shows. i think they gave us the Paris live DVD to hold us over for the rest of our lives. and also as a visual tribute to Philip. I know I play it at least once during the holiday season to remind me of the great Christmas shows I saw. i can live with that.

We booked London in advaced. And we hope we will see the Pogues. But I think they will not play. We got the hotel and the ferry. We will stay from the 16. Dec till the 19. Dec. Extention optional. If someone got any information about a gig, please let me know....... We'll travel from germany......

I went to probably 15 of the reunited shows. My only regret is getting way too drunk at the O2 and not enjoying the band properly. I spent most of the show nursing a bottle of water at the back. I really don't want that to be my last experience of the greatest live band.

Good to see you aboard, DiTG! I enjoyed the O2 show a lot.

It'll be strange if my last view of the band live turns out to have been the gig in Thetford Forest. Wouldn't have predicted that as the final venue.
Likes the warm feeling but is tired of all the dehydration.

That's really not an entirely INAPPROPRIATE final way to see 'em, though.
