usuall a pogues gig is a lads weekend piss up ,but usual suspects cant make it this yer ,didnt want to miss out ,didnt want to go on me own ,so asked missus if shes up for it and she agreed ,so got 2 days in cardiff ,one for shopping and one on the lash with me wife ,should be intersting .

will have to restrain meself at the gig usually go down the front but cant see that happening this yer .

I didn't really know the Pogues when I went there last x mas at Brixton. My cousin had bought the ticket for me so I thought feck this we'll leave our gang who had a great view on the slope, and I pushed and pulled me and Annies hand all the way to the front just before it was about to start - If you were at brixton last year there was a girl shouting " I want to see my mummy! let me see my mummy!" I got to the front and felt quite proud of myself then the music startedd... dum dum dum - I've never been so beaten in my life!! I pulled Anna out and we went back onto the slope.

Nope. She's a woman of excellent taste who first saw the pogues with me in 1986 on about date number three and, as I recall, it was her suggestion we go! I believe the expression is "Fine Girl You Are."

after hearing me play the Pogues since we got married I took my wife along to the tokyo show.. She had a great time! Up front with the rest of us and a dance to fairytale with my missus.. loverly time indeed..

Well i did offer but i think that playing Pogues / Shane related stuff at home / in the car (IISFFGWG is one of about 5 tapes i have in car) / everywhere at any given opportunity has killed it for her. It was particularly bad after last Xmas's gigs which maybe explains why she's going to stay with the Outlaws whilst i go to Brixton show.
