Setlist from Manchester anyone?
Likes the warm feeling but is tired of all the dehydration.

Fantastic gig.

Setlist was Rum Sodomy & The Lash in order (I think!!!!!) ...followed by 'Hits'..... Streams, Body, Irish Rover, Rainy Night, Thousands, Repeal, Fairytale, Fiesta etc

I will type more later, when I've come round a bit....!

"One Philip Chevron" chants the highlight of the night......

Manchester was awesome! Absolutely wonderful!

Fantastic to hear the complete RSL, with the long version of Waltzing
Matilda!

Cheers to all I've met

A cracking evening at the Apollo. There was even a sing song afterwards on the 192 bus to Picacdilly Gardens. Roll on Thursday.

Apollo is the best Manchester place I have seen them in 26 years of watching them . The horn section made a few of the songs and the Sally MacLennane T-shirt is the best I have seen. Roll on next year with a Red Roses tour (hint hint please) and the Dirty Old Town shirt (double hint).

Best song on the night? For me it was Irish Rover - never heard the man from West Meath called Malone called a C**t before. Think Shane was getting confused with his 6 million dogs and 8 million barrels of Stone etc. He had to let it all out!

It's great to hear you're still Pogue-o-ing. I'm doing okay, John. Unfortunately, I'm not able to make any of this run of Pogues shows.

Nah, I like people to have fun. When I was still looking for an affordable flight over I found one via Moscow that didn't require a visa if you weren't changing terminals... something like that. I've always wanted to do the free Iceland layover option via Scotland too.

If you guys make it to Rapa Nui, Tahiti or the Great Wall before me then you'll see some jealousy. Japan also. 8)

I love eating Indian food in London too. Nom, nom, nom. But Italy, wow!

I did not know about needing a visa in Russia, I had a six hour layover in Moscow a few years ago on my way to Uzbekistan and never had one. Well, I did make it to the great wall about 15 years ago and got some great pics as we were on top of the wall at sunrise (had to leap the gates as they were not open for business yet). I had a friend living in Beijing who I met there, then we headed to Tibet for 2 weeks. Now that was an adventure for sure. My wife's godparents are East Indian so it is comfort food for her. We eat it often.
And I don't want no grave
Just throw my ashes in the field
And hope there's some soul left to save
